The Tiny Torch is the work of Jenny Lin. 

Originally trained as a sculptor, her artwork dealt with the intersection of body and place. Growing up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, a region known for steel and coal industries, her notion of place was shaped buy the constant juxtaposition of rich natural landscape and gritty industrial spaces. Her sculptures were tools for interaction with landscape; altering horizon lines, enveloping earth, and wearing structure. 

The Tiny Torch is a continuation of that sculpture practice in the form of sculptural jewelry.

Tiny Torch is a one woman show. Jenny designs and fabricates each piece by hand. Using the essential tools that jewelers have used for millennia, she creates contemporary, architectural jewelry that is simultaneously bold and delicate.
